What We Collect

We collect information you provide directly and information generated through your use of the service:

• Preferences you share: Any budget, location, or priority details you provide to tailor your results.
• Interaction data: How you navigate and interact with the site (pages viewed, time on page), used to improve your experience.
• Email address: If you choose to provide it to receive results or reports.
• Property searches: Addresses or locations you enter for property analysis.
• Payment information: Processed securely through our payment provider (Stripe). We do not store credit card numbers on our servers.
• Usage data: Pages visited, features used, device type, and browser information collected through standard analytics.

How We Use Your Data

Your data is used for the following purposes:

• Generating your property valuation, cost analysis, and negotiation guidance
• Showing the confidence behind each number, including where the underlying data is thin
• Creating your paid Buyer's Intel report when you purchase it
• Sending you results, reports, and lifecycle updates (market changes, new inventory) if you've opted in
• Improving our recommendations and overall service experience
• Generating aggregated, de-identified market intelligence (no individual user data is shared)

What We Do NOT Do

• We do not sell your quiz responses or behavioral data to agents or brokers
• We do not route your contact information to agents based on advertising spend
• We do not allow advertising or sponsorship to influence recommendations, match scores, or report content
• We do not use your data to target you with third-party advertising on our service

Supplementary Revenue and Data Isolation

ZETTLD may generate revenue through supplementary channels including affiliate referral programs with non-agent service providers (mortgage lenders, insurance providers, home services, title and inspection) and aggregated, de-identified data licensing. No agent, broker, lender, advertiser, or property seller pays for placement, ranking, or influence over our recommendations. Affiliate revenue has no influence on our recommendations — an affiliated service provider receives the same recommendation as a non-affiliated one.

When we recommend a service provider through an affiliate relationship, we will clearly disclose the affiliation. You are never required to use any affiliated service.

Data Retention

We retain personal data only as long as necessary to deliver the service and comply with legal obligations. Specific retention periods:

• Active account data (quiz responses, interaction data, saved properties): retained while the account is active.
• Inactive accounts: if you have not used the service for 36 months, we purge identifiable account data; aggregated, de-identified usage stats may remain.
• Paid report data (purchase records, report outputs, receipts): retained for 7 years to meet tax and accounting requirements.
• Property-lookup caches (anonymous property analyses not linked to a user): retained up to 90 days then purged.
• Deleted account data: when you request deletion, active-systems data is removed within 30 days; backup copies cycle out within 90 days.
• Aggregated, de-identified data used for market intelligence: may be retained indefinitely since it cannot be linked back to individuals.

Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information, including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS), secure database access controls, and regular security reviews. Payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe, a PCI DSS Level 1 certified provider. We do not store payment card details on our systems.

Third-Party Service Providers

We use vetted service providers to operate the service:

• Payment processor — PCI DSS Level 1 certified (Stripe). Payment card data is never stored on our systems.
• Mapping and location services — for commute and location features.
• Cloud hosting, database, email delivery — industry-standard providers under commercial data-processing agreements.
• Market data providers — licensed property-data and public-records aggregators for valuations, sale history, and local market metrics.

These providers process data on our behalf under their own privacy policies and contractual data-processing agreements. We share only what is necessary to deliver the service, and we do not sell or share your personal data with these providers for their independent marketing purposes.

Cookies

We use essential cookies to maintain your session state and preferences. We may use analytics cookies to understand how the service is used. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. You may disable cookies in your browser settings, though this may affect service functionality.

Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Correction: Request correction of inaccurate data
• Deletion: Request deletion of your personal data
• Portability: Request your data in a portable format

California Residents (CCPA / CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act and California Privacy Rights Act:

• Right to know what categories of personal information we collect, the sources, purposes, and third parties with whom we share it.
• Right to access the specific pieces of personal information we hold about you.
• Right to delete personal information we have collected, subject to exceptions for fraud prevention, legal compliance, and internal uses compatible with the context of collection.
• Right to correct inaccurate personal information.
• Right to opt out of "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. There is nothing to opt out of.
• Right to limit use of sensitive personal information. We do not collect sensitive personal information as defined by CPRA.
• Right to non-discrimination for exercising these rights — we will not deny service, charge different prices, or provide a different level of quality as a result.

Categories of personal information we collect: identifiers (email, IP address), commercial information (purchases), internet activity (browsing and interaction data on our service), geolocation (addresses you submit for analysis), and inferences drawn from the above. We retain each category per the schedule in Data Retention above.

Children's Privacy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
